Hundreds Of Abandoned OFO Yellow Bicycles Distributed To B/CS Non Profit Agencies

The end of yellow rental bicycles means free transportation for hundreds of local residents.

Texas A&M Transportation Services and the city of College Station’s community services department are in the process of distributing more than 500 former OFO bicycles to 23 non profit agencies.

Community services director Debbie Eller says the non-profits will hand them over to clients who need transportation.

Eller says the recipients are being asked to change the bicycle’s appearance. And the new owners are also receiving guidance on parking and storage.
