DNA evidence is used by College Station police to arrest a Montgomery man on four counts of apartment burglaries and attempting to assault female residents.

Police chief Scott McCollum says since the first case in October of 2015, CSPD has taken at least 14 reports of similar nature.

In the most recent case, on November 20th, the victim also received text messages that according to the arrest report were traced to 35 year-old Christopher Quinn Williams of Montgomery.

The arrest report also noted DNA evidence left at the scene after the suspect touched himself was analyzed by the same company that recently ended a cold case murder investigated by the Brazos County sheriff’s office.

McCollum said the results of the screening led to identifying Williams.

The arrest report stated the DNA also matched two other burglaries and attempted assaults from earlier this year, and a fourth incident that took place three years ago.

Williams is out of jail after posting bonds totaling 160 thousand dollars.
