Traffic Reminders For The First Aggie Home Football Game In Five Weeks

Saturday’s Texas A&M-Ole Miss football game is the first home game in five weeks.

Madison Metsker-Galarza from the Texas A&M Transportation Institute says leave early…if for no other reason to catch the Corps of Cadets stepoff at 9:00 a.m. instead of 9:30.

Galarza also suggests choosing your parking location based on where you are headed after the game.

The biggest issue facing motorists are those from Houston jamming Highway 290 and Highway 6 to the game, to the Renaissance Festival, and to Navasota’s Reds, Wheats, and Blues festival.

Galarza also says fans have been taking advantage of the first year the campus has offered rental bicycles.
