Arts Council Of The Brazos Valley New Home Opens To The Public

The new home of the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley is now open to the public.

The agency’s new CEO, Sylvia McMullen, says the one time fire station and more recently 4-H headquarters building is divided into two parts. One is the gallery/exhibition area, and the second is an area for multipurpose uses.

McMullen says three artists have studios at their new home…and a visitor’s center is also coming to the new property in College Station.

The ACBV’s new home in south College Station is located along the freeway’s southbound service road south of Barron Road.

McMullen is looking towards a multi-day grand opening of the new Arts Council building in January.
