Bryan Police Make Road Rage Arrest

Bryan police responding to a road rage incident Wednesday morning led to an arrest.

26 year old Nathan Booth-Cassy of Bryan denies pointing a handgun at the driver and a passenger of a car who were headed to Blinn College.

According to the driver, he unintentionally cut off Cassy while changing lanes on Villa Maria near Texas.

The victim said Cassy followed him flashing his lights and honking his horn as the vehicles continued on Villa Maria past the Tejas Center to the intersection of Villa Maria and 29th Street.

When the victim got in the left turn lane, he says Cassy pulled up beside him and pointed his gun.

Then the victim said he switched lanes and got behind Cassy to get a tag number and vehicle description.

According to the arrest report, Cassy told officers while they were stopped at 29th and Villa Maria he placed his hand on his pistol after one of the occupants got out of their car.

Cassy said he never displayed his nine millimeter gun.

Cassy was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
