Missing College Station Toddler Is Found Safe

From College Station police:

On 10/10/18, at approximately 11:17 PM, officers with the College Station Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of Fall Ct, for a welfare concern call. A toddler approached an apartment in the area, and tried to get inside. Officers responded, and after an exhaustive search of the immediate area, were unable to locate the toddler’s parents.

After posting the child’s information on social media, officers were able to make contact with the parents of the child, and discovered the child was able to defeat a child-proof lock and leave his apartment without the parent’s knowledge. After a joint investigation with the Texas Department of Family Protective Services, the child was released back to his family.

The College Station Police Department would like to thank the community for their outpouring of support and assistance in reuniting the child with his family.
