A former employee of a local convenience store is headed to prison for stealing more than $10,000 dollars in cash and merchandise.

The Brazos County district attorney’s office announced a plea agreement with 44 year old Rosharon Lummus that includes a 12 year sentence.

According to the Bryan police arrest report, she admitted to taking almost $6,800 dollars in cash from the Stripes store at Briarcrest and the freeway between March and September of last year.
