College Station Man Accused Of Apologizing To Bryan Armed Robbery Victim

A College Station man is accused of apologizing while committing an armed robbery at a Bryan business.

23 year old Alexander Castillo was arrested about one hour after Bryan police received the call of the holdup at Fatty’s Smoke Shop on South Texas.

Castillo was also charged with resisting arrest after it took five officers to place handcuffs on him.

According to the arrest report, Castillo told the store employee his daughter was sick and he needed money for a bus ticket to get to Houston before she died.

Officers matched the the robbers description with a man they found in a car parked at the Walmart on Briarcrest.

Castillo and a passenger in the car…19 year old Megan Gonzales of College Station…are also in jail on a warrant from Burleson County accusing them of a residential burglary.
