College Station Mobile Home Park Residents Without Water Much Of Wednesday

Almost 900 residents of a College Station mobile home park were without water much of Wednesday.

College Station Utilities reports a contractor installing a sewer line broke an eight inch water line that serves the Rolling Ridge park.

CSU reported the break shortly before 11:30 a.m. Service was restored about eight hours later.

City officials reported crews thought the repairs were completed around 6 p.m. When the line was pressured to send water, a second leak caused by the contractor was found. That delayed the restoration until about 7:30.
