The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) State Troopers are investigating today a single vehicle fatality crash on State Highway 60, east of County Route 428 in Burleson County.

The preliminary investigation indicates shortly after noon, a 2000 Chevrolet pick-up was traveling westbound on SH-60 and crossed over to the eastbound ditch.

The pick-up then crossed back over to the westbound ditch striking a culvert at a private drive, causing the pick-up to flip onto its roof.

The 16-year-old passenger was transported by ambulance to St Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan with unknown injuries.
