UPDATE: Drug Buy Behind Armed Robbery Charges In College Station Holdup That Killed A Local Man

July 6, 2018 update:

Last Saturday’s armed robbery inside a College Station home that ended with the murder of one of the occupants involved a drug buy.

That’s according to a College Station police arrest report released Friday involving one of the three men who are in jail.

A new charge against 20 year old Dashawn Taylor accuses him of tampering with evidence.

Taylor told investigators he took a double barrel pump shotgun from the home on Sara Drive.

It was one of a multiple number of firearms Taylor says he hid before he was arrested in Harris County on Tuesday and brought back to College Station.

A fourth and unidentified man sought by CSPD remains at large.

According to Taylor’s arrest report, which was released this Thursday morning, he was identified by witnesses as the man who was involved in a struggle for a gun when a shot was fired that killed one of four victims inside a house on Sara Drive.

According to Hudgen’s arrest report, Hudgen and Taylor were visibly upset and crying after arriving at the home of Hudgen’s stepfather. And Hudgen told his stepfather he was involved.

The third man in jail, 20 year old Michael Comeaux of College Station, told investigators he was the getaway driver.

The fourth and unidentified suspect is still at large.
