Local Drivers With Criminal Histories Are Arrested

A Bryan police officer stopping a car without a front license plate resulted in the driver being arrested for driving with an invalid license with seven prior convictions. According to the arrest report, 31 year old Jose Valentin Flores of Navasota has 57 active suspensions on his license. Flores is out of jail after posting a $3,000 dollar bond.

A Bryan woman who pleaded guilty last December to family violence assault and was sentenced to ten years probation was back in jail last weekend. 55 year old Esmeralda Galvan was arrested by Texas A&M police for driving with an invalid license with four prior convictions. That’s after the officer saw her made an illegal left turn in the construction zone of the new interchange by Easterwood airport. According to online records, it’s Galvan’s 37th visit to jail in almost 25 years. Galvan is out of jail after posting a $2,000 dollar bond.

An arrest report recently issued by a DPS trooper indicated six witnesses to a three vehicle crash last Christmas Day identified one of three drivers who ran into the woods without giving information. 27 year old Jerry Adam Neely Jr. of College Station was recently arrested for leaving the scene and a warrant from College Station police for theft with more than two convictions. According to online records, it’s the 17th time Neely has been in jail in the last nine and a half years. As of May 15, Neely remained in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $9,000 dollars.
