Results Of Fifth Annual Bryan Crawfish Boil For The 100 Club

Last month’s annual crawfish cook-off in Bryan to benefit the non-profit organization that assists the dependents of firefighters and law enforcement officers killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty generated more than twice the funds compared to last year.

Organizers of the fifth annual event…the first that was staged at Bryan’s former city golf course…presented an $8,000 dollar check Monday to the 100 Club.

The event…a project of Shipwreck Grill, JBG Plumbing, and The Crawfish Hole…was in response to a fire in February 2014 that took the lives of two Bryan firefighters and critically injured two others.

Accepting the check were the president/director of the 100 Club William Skeen and 100 Club board member JJ Ruffino of Bryan.
