Have You Seen This Vehicle Burglar?

During a three week period ending last Friday, College Station and Bryan police received nearly 80 reports of unlocked vehicle burglaries.

Since then, police has received very few new cases.

But business is up at the Brazos County sheriff’s office.

Several unlocked vehicles were entered east of Bryan in the Whitetail Run subdivision between Coulter Field airport and Wixon Valley.

The sheriff’s office has provided a video of a suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Brazos County Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS (8477).

News release from the Brazos County sheriff’s office:

Over the weekend the Sheriff’s Office responded to several vehicle burglaries in the northeast part of Brazos County, specifically the Whitetail Run neighborhood.

The suspect(s) in this case targeted unlocked vehicles.

We are asking that if anyone has information on these burglaries, to please contact the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.

Here are some tips to help prevent vehicle burglaries:

Do not leave valuable items visible in your car.
Close all windows and lock all doors before leaving your vehicle.
Park in well-lit areas.
Report anything you find suspicious, even if you think it’s minor.
