College Station Firefighters Still Investigating Cause Of Friday Morning Apartment Fire

College Station firefighters are still looking for a cause to an apartment building fire Friday morning.

Fire marshal Eric Dotson says fire damage was mostly on the outside of a four unit building at the Flats on 12, located on Harvey Mitchell across from the post office.

Dotson says a resident who lived in another building was treated for smoke inhalation while alerting residents in the affected building.

27 firefighters and 13 units who were on the scene took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.

Dotson says there was enough water and smoke damage inside all four units to displace those residents.
