Bryan Council Update On Converting Former Municipal Golf Course To A Superpark

This week’s Bryan city council meeting included an update on turning the former Bryan municipal golf course into a superpark.

City manager Kean Register says the deadline for design firms interested in the project to contact the city is January 25th. Then staff would take two weeks to review the proposals before making a recommendation to the council.

Councilmen Reuben Marin and Buppy Simank added the item to the agenda in order to keep residents abreast of what’s happening.

There is no estimated cost and no funding source has been announced for the project.
