UIL Sets New Athletic Classifications for Brazos Valley High Schools

Attempts by the College Station and Bryan school boards to balance high school populations to stay in the UIL football district worked for four years.

Realignments for next year announced Wednesday by the state association have placed the four major high schools in the twin cities in three classifications.

Consolidated and Rudder remain in 5-A division two, while College Station High moves to 5-A division one, and Bryan High jumps to 6-A.
