Prison For Stealing Jewelry, Armed Robbery Of An Insurance Office, And Selling Drugs

A College Station woman has admitted to stealing $18,800 dollars of jewelry from a Bryan home in September of last year, then selling the items at a local pawn shop. 19 year old Abigail Sharp is in the Brazos County jail, awaiting a trip to a state prison system women’s center in Beaumont. In addition to completing the women center’s program, she was ordered to pay restitution, write a letter of apology, perform 200 hours of community service, and take an anti-theft class.

One of two men involved the armed robbery of a Bryan insurance office where $7,800 dollars was taken has been sentenced to 58 years in prison. The punishment for 27 year old Brodniey Ray of Bryan comes five weeks after a Brazos County district court jury found him guilty of the September 2015 robbery.

A Bryan man arrested last March after running away from Bryan police for a traffic violation has admitted to selling cocaine, morphine, and marijuana. The Brazos County district attorney’s office reports 31 year old Stephon Craig was sentenced to 25 years due to his criminal record. At the time of his arrest, Craig was out on bond in three drug cases in Brazos County and a firearms charge in Madison County.
