Sunday Night Armed Robbery North of Northgate

From Bryan police:

On November 12, 2017 at approximately 10:00 p.m., Officers from the Bryan Police Department responded to the Double Quick Mart, located at 4501 Wellborn, for an aggravated robbery that had just occurred.

An unidentified male suspect entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

The Bryan Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 979-209-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS (8477).

The city of Bryan has provided a summary of proposed changes to the current animal ordinance. Tonight is the chance to speak to city officials. Comments by e-mail are being accepted through tomorrow.Friendly reminder! Today you have an opportunity to provide much wanted feedback on proposed changes to the existing animal ordinance. Citizens are welcome and encouraged to join us October 18th at 5:30 PM in Council Chambers for the Bryan Animal Center Advisory Committee meeting to share their thoughts.

These proposed changes are being discussed in an effort to update the City’s animal ordinance to better reflect adherence to state law, support community needs, and promote best practices in addressing common concerns.

You are able to review these ahead of time at Bryantx.gov/animalordinance. In the event you cannot join us in person for the meeting, please submit your comments in writing at animalservices@bryantx.gov by October 19th.
