CS Police Report Dog Bite In The Dog Park

From College Station police:

On 11/09/17, College Station Animal Control received a report of an animal bite. The victim advised that at approximately 5:45 PM she was at the Steeplechase Dog Park (301 West Ridge Dr.) with her husband and dog.

The victim stated her dog, a mostly white with black face 28 pound male terrier mix, got into a fight with another dog.

The victim advised she grabbed the other dog by its collar and in the process was bit. The victim advised the owner of the dog, a white male, grabbed the dog and left immediately with a white female.

The victim described the dog that bit her as all tan, medium sized, long tailed, possibly pit mix dog.

The victim described the owner of the dog as a slender white male, in his early 20’s, with dark short hair, wearing a grey button up sweater jacket.

The white male left with a white female, with long/medium dark brown hair.

College Station Animal Control is asking for help from the public in locating the dog involved in the bite and its owner.

The dog needs to be located and observed to rule out possible rabies exposure to the victim.
