Texas Railroad Commissioner And Aggie Ryan Sitton Visits B/CS

One of three members of the Texas Railroad Commission is an Aggie.

And Ryan Sitton has been on campus since Thursday particpating in multiple events.

As a member of the state agency that among other things issues permits for oil, natural gas, and coal production, Sitton has kept up with crude prices topping $50 dollars a barrel.

Sitton expects prices reaching $60 dollars next year…but after that it’s speculation how high prices will go.

With the current infrastructure in place, Sitton expects crude prices in the next five years to range from $60 to $70 dollars.
