Class of 2016 Bryan ISD Education Foundation Hall of Honor Inductees Are Announced

The Bryan ISD Education Foundation, Bryan ISD and the City of Bryan are pleased to announce the inductees for this year’s Hall of Honor. Each individual has made a lasting and positive impact on their community, and those impacts will be recognized at the Bryan ISD Education Foundation Hall of Honor banquet Aug. 20, at Miramont Country Club.

The 2016 Hall of Honor Inductees are:

Assistant Agency Director and Texas 4-H State Leader
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service
College Station, Texas

Randy French, Bryan High School, 1972
Founder and Owner, Stylecraft Builders, Inc.

Betty Hanks, E. A. Kemp High School, 1960
Retired educator, Bryan ISD.
Owner/Operator of Big Top Nursery
Bryan, Texas

Susan Miller Hult, Bryan High School, 1973
Assistant Conductor and Prompter, Lyric Opera of Chicago
Mt. Pleasant, Iowa

The Honorable Tom McDonald, Stephen F. Austin High School, 1958
Senior District Judge of Texas
Bryan, Texas

The Honorable John N. Raney, Stephen F, Austin High School, 1965
State Representative
Bryan, Texas

These individuals were selected for the honor based on their achievements, strength of character and citizenship. They are models of community service and involvement, widely known for inspiring and challenging today’s students. Hall of Honor nomination categories include Arts/Humanities, Business/Industry, Community Service, Education, Public Service, Recreation/Athletics and Special Recognition.
