What Do You Want in the Next Rudder High School Principal?

Bryan ISD has launched a short online survey that seeks to gain an understanding of the traits desired in the next principal for Rudder High School.

Parents, students, employees and community members are invited to participate in the anonymous survey by computer or smart phone.

Hugh Piatt, Rudder’s current principal, announced Friday he is stepping down to accept a position in the Texas panhandle, closer to his family.

The city of Bryan has provided a summary of proposed changes to the current animal ordinance. Tonight is the chance to speak to city officials. Comments by e-mail are being accepted through tomorrow.Friendly reminder! Today you have an opportunity to provide much wanted feedback on proposed changes to the existing animal ordinance. Citizens are welcome and encouraged to join us October 18th at 5:30 PM in Council Chambers for the Bryan Animal Center Advisory Committee meeting to share their thoughts.

These proposed changes are being discussed in an effort to update the City’s animal ordinance to better reflect adherence to state law, support community needs, and promote best practices in addressing common concerns.

You are able to review these ahead of time at Bryantx.gov/animalordinance. In the event you cannot join us in person for the meeting, please submit your comments in writing at animalservices@bryantx.gov by October 19th.
