Aggie Divers Nab Three Top Eight Finishes at AFA Invitational

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Texas A&M divers earned a trio of top eight finishes on the first day of the Air Force Diving Invitational on Friday at the Cadet Natatorium.

Sophomore Courtney Hattie (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) logged the Aggies’ top finish of the day with a fifth-place effort in the women’s one-meter dive with a score of 252.30. In the men’s three-meter dive, redshirt freshman Tyler Henschel (Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada) and sophomore Colton Haffey (Houston, Texas) were sixth and seventh with point totals of 327.70 and 327.30, respectively.

The Aggies return to action on Saturday with the men’s and women’s platform, the women’s three-meter and the men’s one dive.

Comments by e-mail are being accepted through tomorrow.Friendly reminder! Today you have an opportunity to provide much wanted feedback on proposed changes to the existing animal ordinance. Citizens are welcome and encouraged to join us October 18th at 5:30 PM in Council Chambers for the Bryan Animal Center Advisory Committee meeting to share their thoughts.

These proposed changes are being discussed in an effort to update the City’s animal ordinance to better reflect adherence to state law, support community needs, and promote best practices in addressing common concerns.

You are able to review these ahead of time at Bryantx.gov/animalordinance. In the event you cannot join us in person for the meeting, please submit your comments in writing at animalservices@bryantx.gov by October 19th.
