More Changes to Proposed Bryan ISD Bond IssueFeatured Stories, News Tuesday, July 8th, 2014
In two weeks, the Bryan school board will finalize what is now a $132 million dollar bond issue for voters to consider this November.
More changes were announced by administrators during a workshop Monday.
Superintendent Tommy Wallis says that includes a new three story Stephen F. Austin classroom building between the gym and the civic auditorium. That will free up consolidating administrative offices in the present SFA building.070714-Dr.-Wallis-comments-about-SFA.mp3
Dr. Wallis told the board Sul Ross Elementary would receive a $16 million dollar makeover that would turn that campus into basically a new school.070714-Dr.-Wallis-comments-about-Sul-Ross.mp3
Anson Jones Elementary would get a $5.5 million dollar facelift, and Milam Elementary will become the new home of the Mary Catherine Harris alternative school.070714-Dr.-Wallis-comments-about-Anson-Jones.mp3
