A Bryan man sought by the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office is also on the new Bryan Police Department’s ten most wanted list.

And Brazos County Crimestoppers has offered a $500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Roy Edward Arevalo Jr. during the week of April 9, 2014 through April 16, 2014. The 24 hour Crimestoppers hotline phone number is 775-8477 (TIPS). You don’t give your name and you will be assigned a coded number. Cash rewards are paid for information called in only to the hotline.

An arrest warrant was issued last week for the 18 year old on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.

Arevalo’s father, Roy Sr., and a now-former Brazos County jail officer were previously arrested on similar charges.

Sheriff Chris Kirk says the Arevalo’s and 20 year old Cody Jones are accused of smuggling narcotics and tobacco products into the jail.

Kirk says Jones, who was hired as a detention officer in December 2012, has been fired.

Arevalo Jr. is 5’6″ tall and 200 lbs. with a variety of tattoos, including two angels on his abdomen, on his right arm are the names Lucky Lou, Godfather, and Al Capone, on his left arm there are three women and clown faces, and on his chest is the name “AREVALO”.
