A former College Station firefighter has been arrested on theft charges from two College Station stores.

A city spokesman says 43 year old Bond Donahoe of Bryan has resigned from the department.

Donahoe is accused of stealing a $579 dollar tool set from Lowe’s, then taking it to the return counter and receiving a gift card for that amount.

He’s also accused of going into Target and stealing a $300 dollar camera.

Video surveillance at both stores caught Donohoe wearing fire department clothing.

Police say the investigation continues and more charges are possible.
