Not Too Late to Get Your Flu ShotFeatured Stories, News Tuesday, January 28th, 2014
Temperatures this month bouncing back and forth from the 20’s to the 70’s back to the 20’s means more chances of getting the flu.
Julie Anderson at the Brazos County health department says getting a flu shot will still help.
Two weeks ago, there were 125 seasonal flu cases. That number dropped to 59 last week. The number of people with flu-like symptoms rose from 46 to 53.
Those numbers are down from the peak in early December. Anderson says the keys, in addition to flu shots, are getting a primary care physician and staying home when you don’t feel well.
