A Madisonville man remains in the Brazos County jail, accused of stealing a car Saturday morning then crashing it into bushes outside a convenience store in south College Station.

According to the arrest report, it took at least two firefighters and three police officers…with one shooting a stun gun twice…to get 29 year old Obryan Roark in handcuffs.

Roark was transported by ambulance to College Station Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, then he was taken to jail on charges of robbery and drunk driving.

The owner of the car, an acquaintance of Roark, told police Roark punched him in the face then took the car minutes before the crash in the area of the freeway northbound frontage road and Nantucket.

The car came to rest high-centered on bushes at the Towerpoint Exxon at Fitch and the freeway.
