Five criminal cases involving a Bryan man have been resolved with a plea agreement.
The Brazos County District Attorney’s office announced 39 year old Cedric Rhodes entered guilty pleas to drug charges and unlawful possession of a firearm. Due to Rhodes’ criminal history, he was sentenced to 36 years in prison.
Prosecutors say the crimes go back to December 2011 when Rhodes was arrested for possessing cocaine and codiene syrup.
He was also convicted of charges from last month where Bryan police used a confidential informant to sell Rhodes crack cocaine for cash and Lowe’s gift cards.
Rhodes was also convicted of possessing several controlled substances including ecstasy and p-c-p along with a 40 caliber handgun.
