Children Spontaneously Mob Bryan Convenience Store
Featured Stories, News Thursday, January 9th, 2014Bryan police investigators are still collecting information from a mob of children that hit a convenience store last Saturday night.
Officer Kelley McKethan says two store clerks weren’t able to manage an estimated 30 kids wound up in or outside the Chevron store at William Joel Bryan and Highway 21.
McKethan says most of the kids have been identified, either through store video or their parents bringing them in.
The loss was $200 of merchandise and $300 damage to a door. There were no injuries to the kids or two store clerks.
Police believe it was a spontaneous event and not something that was planned in advance.
