Fight Leads to StabbingFeatured Stories, News Friday, January 3rd, 2014
A verbal fight that ended with a stabbing Thursday afternoon led a concerned witness to call College Station Police.
Lieutenant Chuck Fleeger says the two men had come from a nearby apartment near the intersection of Harvey and Stallings.
Fleeger says The victim received multiple non-life threatening cuts and was able to take himself for medical treatment.
He says the two men knew each other, and charges are pending.

On January 2, 2014 at approximately 1414 hrs officers of the College Station Police Department were dispatched to the 500 blk of Harvey Road in regards to a report of a disturbance at that location. Upon arrival, officers met with a witness who had reported seeing two males involved in a physical altercation in that area that resulted in one of the males appearing to stab the other. Prior to officers arriving on scene, both of the subjects left the area before contact with police.
Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division responded and along with patrol officers were able to locate the parties involved. The victim was found to have suffered several non-life threatening cuts after being allegedly attacked with a knife and transported himself to a local medical facility for treatment.
This case is under review and our investigators continue to work with local prosecutors to determine if charges will be filed at a later time.
