United Way of the Brazos Valley Completing Campaigns

united_way_logoUnited Way of the Brazos Valley (UWBV) is finishing up its fall campaign.

President Andy Martin says both the state employees and community drives are on track to raise more money compared to the year before last, but both are projected to be off about $40,000 dollars from last year.

Martin says agencies have been notified of how distributions will be handled. Distributions for the first half of next year will be made as promised, then any adjustments will be made for the second half the year.

Martin also says you’re invited to participate in a community survey to set future priorities.

UWBV is holding a reception next Thursday afternoon to mark the end of the this year’s campaigns.
