A Bryan man’s reaction to hearing his girlfriend say she was ending their relationship landed him in jail.

24 year old Logan McMann is accused of jumping on the woman’s vehicle as she was trying to leave, shattering a window to gain entry, then grabbing her neck.

Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk says the woman was able to get away and run to a neighbor’s house.

Kirk says McMann followed the woman to the house, shattered the glass back door to get inside, and threatened to kill her.

The sheriff says the homeowner pointed a handgun at McMann, and following a brief fight the suspect was subdued and held until deputies arrived to make the arrest.

The Monday night incident was Monday night east of Bryan on Shady Creek Drive.
