Have You Seen This Accused Armed Robber?

College Station Police has released the identity of one of two men accused of an armed robbery the night of October 14 in the area of Deacon and Longmire.

CSPD says an arrest warrant has been issued for 20 year old Gerrick Oliver on two counts of aggravated robbery.

According to CSPD, Oliver should be considered armed and dangerous; and you are cautioned to contact law enforcement and not approach him.

The investigation into this incident is on-going and additional arrests and charges are possible.

Persons with knowledge of Oliver’s whereabouts are asked to immediately contact the College Station Police Department at 979-764-3600, or Brazos County Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS.

The original news release from CSPD:

On October 15, 2013 at approximately 0930 hrs officers of the College Station Police Department received a report of an aggravated robbery that had occurred the previous day. Upon meeting with the 18 year old victim, officers were able to learn the following information.

The victim reported that at approximately 2000 hrs on October 14, 2013 he had met with persons in the area of Deacon and Longmire streets to sell them some property. The victim willingly got into the vehicle with the suspect and they drove to a nearby apartment complex in the 2700 blk of Longmire. At that time the front seat passenger produced a handgun and demanded the property and wallet of the victim. The victim complied and was allowed to leave the vehicle unharmed. The vehicle then fled the area in an unknown direction of travel.
