Bush Foundation Offering Grants and Programs

The Bush Library and Museum is closed due to the government shutdown, but the George Bush Foundation is as busy as ever.

Communications Director Kristin King says this year, Texas A&M recognized student organizations are included in the non-profits eligible to apply for community grants through the George Bush Foundation.

King says they have also increased the level of available grants to up to $10,000.

Applications are due Thursday, October 31st.

King says the foundation is also hosting a special visit and book-signing with the granddaughter of Sir William Churchill, Celia Sandys, 6 p. m. at in the Annenburg Presidential Conference Center on Thursday, October 24.

She says Sandys’ presentation is called, “Memories of my Grandfather, Winston Churchill”,  and is full of great personal stories and anecdotes.

King says to reserve tickets by calling their office at 979- 862-2251, or go to the page on their website, which you can reach if you CLICK HERE.
