CS Police Receive Animal Bite Report

College Station Police on Monday requested public assistance to find a dog that bit a woman.

The victim contacted police Sunday she was bit Saturday around midnight in the area of Texas and Dominik.

The woman told police she was reaching down to grab a mid-sized white dog when it bit her on the face.

The dog then ran off, and the victim was treated at a local hospital for a bite to her nose then released.

College Station Animal Control is asking for help to locate the dog so rabies exposure to the victim can be ruled out. When located, the dog will need to be observed for ten days from the time of the bite for signs of rabies infection.
