Woman Uses Car As Weapon in Aggravated AssaultFeatured Stories, News Monday, September 16th, 2013
A surprise trip to a boyfriend’s baseball game in Bryan went sour Sunday when a Tomball woman with two small children in her car saw a believed romantic rival and rammed the woman’s car multiple times with her own.
Bryan Police Officer Kelley McKethan says 27-year-old Jennifer Strelsky remains jailed after witnesses say she chased the woman away from the ball park and rammed the back and side of her car as she tried to escape, eventually causing both cars to spin out of control.
McKethan says the cars finally came to rest in a parking lot near the the corner of Groesbeck and Roberts Street.
The boyfriend took Strelsky’s two children, a two and nine year old, who were unharmed, and gave them to family for care.
Both women refused treatment by Bryan medics.
Strelsky is charged with aggravated assault and two counts of child endangerment.
