A&M-Alabama BBQ BetFeatured Stories, News Wednesday, September 11th, 2013
The mayors and the Convention and Visitors Bureaus in Bryan/College Station and Tuscaloosa, Alabama have announced their wager for Saturday’s A&M-Alabama football game.
According to the B/CS CVB, it’s all about barbecue ribs.
The winning city will have to provide a sample of their town’s best barbecue ribs and a shirt with their school colors or logo to the losing city.
The losing Mayor and CVB director will then have to eat the ribs while wearing the other school’s shirt. Pictures will be posted on social media sites, as well as on the respective CVB websites.
And to promote tourism, the losing CVB staff will have to take a picture wearing the other school’s shirt at a tourist hotspot.
The wager will be completed before the end of the football year, and the public is encouraged to stay up to date on the wager by following the cities and CVB on their social media sites.
