O.J. Simpson Pleaded for Leniency

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) _ Former football great O.J. Simpson pleaded for
leniency, telling a parole panel he deeply regretted the night he robbed two
sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room. The 66-year-old said he’s
been a model inmate while serving his time as part of a 33-year sentence after
being incarcerated in 2008.
