Bryan Gathering Comments For Grant Action PlanFeatured Stories, News Monday, July 8th, 2013
As the City of Bryan prepares to make an action plan for government-supplied funds, community comments are welcome through the last Friday of the month, July 26.
Bryan Community Development Manager Alsie Bond says the comments and concerns help them to make sure that money will be spent in the best possible way for our area.
Bond says citizens can ask how to access programs and express what they like or don’t like that’s being done in the neighborhoods.
She says whether you’re a citizen or a partner, your comments will go into the action plan and be reviewed by HUD and the city council.
Bond says the grants are geared to serve special needs populations such as the elderly and low and moderate income families with a special emphasis on housing.
