Man Robs Bryan Doughnut Shop

The Bryan man charged with Wednesday afternoon’s kidnapping is now additionally charged with aggravated robbery.

Bryan Police say that 28-year-old Zachary Drake has been charged with Wednesday morning’s robbery of Donald Donuts, as well as linked to a robbery at Antiqueables on South College in June.

A Wednesday morning doughnut shop visit ended in an armed robbery.

Bryan Police Officer Kelley McKethan says a man wearing all black entered the Donald Donuts on East 29th street near Briarcrest around 8:15, produced a gun, and ran with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured and the man escaped on foot.

The investigation is ongoing.
