Arrest in One Online Solicitation Case & Prison in AnotherFeatured Stories, News Thursday, June 27th, 2013
College Station Police has arrested a Maryland man for online solicitation of a girl under 14 years old. 22 year old Nathaniel Jahromi was released from the Brazos County Jail Tuesday after posting bond. The Baltimore-area man is accused of using Skype to communicate with the juvenile last December and January. The victim’s father gave detectives his daughter’s computers and cell phone in February. The devices were examined by the Greater Houston Regional Forensic Computer Lab. In addition to contacting the Baltimore County Maryland Police Department, the allegations were forwarded to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
In a separate case, a Huntsville man convicted of distributing sexually explicit web videos from Brazos County is off to prison. Probation was revoked for 24 year old Ryan Towery after authorities caught him viewing online porn over 25 days. Towery was sentenced to three years of posting videos involving someone he believed was under 14.
