Navasota HS Student Accused of Making Bomb Threat

There’s been an arrest from a bomb threat made at Navasota High School.

Navasota Police report 17 year old Christopher Brice from Navasota admitted it was a hoax with no real motive.

Superintendent Rory Gesch told our sister station, Navasota News, that the student is accused of leaving a note on Tuesday which wasn’t found until Wednesday.

Gesch says the decision was made not to evacuate because of when the note was found and because the threat said the bomb would be outside.

Gesch says no devices were found, following a search inside and outside the high school.

City, county, state, and federal authorities were all involved in the bomb search and investigation.

No details have been announced what led to the arrest.
