5K Race to Benefit Victims of Knights of Columbus Hall Fire

Bryan and College Station fire department wives are teaming up to support the firemen killed and injured last month in the Knights of Columbus Hall Fire.

K.C. Ray, wife of a College Station fireman, says the Run for Remembrance 5K will be both meaningful and practical.

Ray says Ricky Mantey and Mitch Moran, who are in Galveston, have several more months of hospital stay and rehabilitation, and their families will feel the impact for a long time.

She says the goal of the run is to raise funds to lessen that negative impact made on a family by losing a wager earner, whether temporarily or permanently.

Ray says the 5K will take place at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field on April 20th.
