Six people told College Station police they were threatened by a man pointing an assault rifle at them.

As previously reported, 34-year-old Traynham Davenport of College Station was arrested the night of March 20 for possessing five guns, a butterfly knife, and five types of drugs.

New information from the arrest report shows Davenport and a second person were banging on the door and windows of a home on McFarland Drive, south of the intersection of Fitch and Wellborn.

The two left and Davenport returned a short time later in his car travelling at a high rate of speed.

Davenport is accused of getting out of his car, taking out an A-R 15 style assault rifle, kneeling behind the car and pointing the gun at the house.

No shots were fired, police found Davenport a mile and a half away, and he was taken to jail where he remains held on bonds totaling $49,000 dollars.

Davenport was also arrested for drunk driving in addition to deadly conduct and possessing the guns and drugs.

Police seized the A-R 15 along with a 357 revolver, a P-S-A P-A 15, a 686-6 revolver, a Ruger 10-22 with an assault rifle stock, and a butterfly knife. Also taken into evidence were four varieties of narcotics and marijuana.
