CS Council Proceeds With Street Study Without Looking at Sidewalks
Featured Stories, News Friday, March 15th, 2013As the College Station City Council considered a contract to study the condition of local streets, the discussion expanded into sidewalks.
James Benham, who requested the company hired to look at both at the same time, also wondered why one city department oversees streets and another sidewalks.
The council majority agreed with interim city manager Frank Simpson’s request to return with future proposal to study sidewalks.
The council will also give future consideration to making a priority list of repairing existing sidewalks.
