Bad Day for Motorists on Highway 30
Featured Stories, News Tuesday, March 5th, 2013Traffic on Highway 30 was blocked at two locations on Tuesday.
Harvey Road was closed in front of the mall after a contractor working on a water line ruptured a natural gas line between O’Hara and Butler. Harvey Road was reopened shortly before 3 p.m.
And on Highway 30 in Grimes County west of Roans Prairie, smoke from a grass fire initially blocked traffic in both directions. As of 4:20 p.m. the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) says both lane have reopened.
