A second man has been convicted of murder in a shooting death nearly two and a half years ago at a Bryan apartment.
A Brazos County District Court jury deliberated four hours in convicting 22 year old Christopher Hernandez.
The jury also had the option of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and finding the Bryan man not guilty.
A third defendant, 20 year old Travis Carroll of Bryan, goes on trial in July.
23 year old Clayton Thompson of Bryan, who fired the gun through the apartment door that killed Billy Menard, Jr. in October 2011, is serving a 45 year prison term as part of a plea agreement made last November.
