CS Police Surround House Following Report of Shots Fired

College Station police officers had their assault rifles drawn Thursday afternoon while surrounding a house south of Crystal Park Plaza.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Mile Drive in reference to a report of shots fired at an occupied vehicle. Police did not identify who in the vehicle or if any gunfire hit the occupant and/or the vehicle.

Witnesses say armed officers surrounded a home on Mile Drive, next to the southbound freeway frontage road, between the Deacon Drive and Rock Prairie Road exits south of Crystal Park Plaza.

25 year old Andrew Paul Sausage of College Station was arrested for warrants from Walker County for forgery and theft.

Police responded to the call at 11:35 a.m. and left the area shortly before 2 p.m.

The picture shows the police presence in the parking lot of Crystal Park Plaza, and through the treeline more PD vehicles on the frontage road.
